Hi, Dear FATES developers,
I apologize for bothering you again. If I initialize FATES with inventory data, should the run start year be set the same as the inventory year? For example, if I ran FATES at a single-point using tower meteorological data from 1986 to 2018, and initialized it with inventory data for 1992, should CLM_FORCE_COLDSTART be set to “on” when initializing it with inventory data? Additionally, considering the inventory data is only available for 1992 while the meteorological data covers 1986, should DATM_CLMNCEP_YR_START and RUN_STARTDATE be set to 1992 or 1986? If set to 1986, that means running for a period of years and modifying the inventory data later?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
