What will happen in your session?

Connecting Citizens not Devices
This workshop invites participants to collectively explore how local communities can be more connected and resilient. By observing and mapping some of the current issues cities are facing we would like to consider the opportunities where citizens can actively participate in co-creating the connected communities of tomorrow. Taking the role of design researcher, the workshop participants will set out to investigate the real problems and experiences of people in the area. The format will be a guided walk throughout 3-4 sites in the area.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

To show people the potential of ethnographic and design research processes and how it can relate to their work.
