Recently, I added some code that fetches an external JSON file and displays some stuff on a page on the learning site. I think it would be nice to have an agreed-upon method or approach to that use case.

Is this style guide appropriate for stuff like that, or is this more about linting and minor conventions like how many spaces our tabs have?
