I use some packages based on trust in the maintainers. But there are some packages where the maintainer is replaced without notice, but I don't trust the new maintainer, even if the new maintainer's update breaks the normal operation of the package.
I don't want to just run paru -Syu, then my computer will install the code I didn't trust and break the old package running
Is there a way to warn the user when the maintainer is changed that the maintainer has changed? Let the user choose whether to trust the new maintainer or skip the upgrade?

Arch by default is rolling release / bleeding edge so it's expected that such things are updated or changed at any time, so I don't see why this is necessary?
