Issue Description

Errors:
Error: socket stalled, closeTransport called before connection was established

Steps + code to reproduce

• Tried migrating my codebase that is using React, Moralis-v1, and WalletConnect v1.
• Did everything on the demo to migrate to WalletConnect v2 and now I get these errors when I try to authenicate.
