  1. Night Vision hurts more than it helps in both the Nether and (ironically) the End. Since neither of these dimensions ever become dark enough to require the buff, would it be possible to disable Night Vision when in these dimensions?
  2. I understand the "Blindness + Night Vision" problem is a vanilla issue that can't be fixed directly, so how about adding "Immunity to Blindness" as one of the perks of Ender Affinity?
  3. Is it possible to remove the potion particle effects from Ender Affinity's Night Vision buff? Edit: Apparently so! In that case, I would suggest eliminating the potion particles from Ender Affinity's Night VIsion buff: potion particles are great for temporary potion effects, but on long-duration passive abilities they become rather distracting.

  1. I think in an upcoming update you will be able to toggle night vision as needed, in addition to a few extra abilities that I can't wait to test out.
  2. I like this idea, it certainly fits the theme.
  3. Yes, this is theoretically possible. You could also turn potion particles off through Optifine.

If it's possible to remove the potion particles directly in the code, then yeah, my suggestion would be to do so---I've edited my top post accordingly, and thanks for the info!

I'm not familiar with the Blindness + Night Vision problem - can you explain it to me?

Blindness and Night Vision together cause the screen to go entirely black. It's been in vanilla for quite a while.
