(Suggestion) Changing the render colour

Hi, I was wondering if there could be a way to configure the colour theme? It would be a very nice feature if you could swap colours in a configuration file, similar to Vim and vimrc. More specifically, I wanted to change the colour of inline code blocks in Markdown from a blue background to something else.

Otherwise, could you provide instructions on where to change colours in the source code and to compile the binary for Linux?
