GridDesigner (Prototype)

Unity Editor extension for drawing grids

Features

  • Mesh based grid designer
  • Brush tool with different sizes to place and remove Tiles
  • Grid data is stored as ScriptableObject
  • Mesh is stored as Asset

Limitations

  • One Grid per Scene
  • ScriptableObjects can't be renamed
  • Folder structure needs to be as delivered / paths are hard coded
  • Tile size is currently 1 unit
