I tried the application out and didn't end up liking it. Wanted to share my feedback using the built-in form, however upon submission I just get this error:

Email send error! API calls in strict mode, but no private key was passed

I'll put my feedback here instead:

  • After clicking New Task, clicking and dragging the handles on the left/right for resizing the bar to fit the time period is hella janky, and randomly zooms and pans the timeline. This makes it take waaay longer to put down a task than it should.
  • I also then realized that tasks aren't persistent, i.e. working on the same thing one day and then the next doesn't seem to put them together in any meaningful way, so I'm not even sure what tasks are useful for. When creating a task, I assumed it would present a list of recently used options to merge together time spent on one thing over multiple timespans.
  • There seem to be absolutely no customization options. Time spent in a fullscreen video player, even if there is no keyboard or mouse input, should not be counted as idle and discarded. As far as I can tell, there are no user-facing controls to fix this.
  • The whole application is yet another web browser in a box, the UI is slow as molasses, and the application takes forever to start up. I'm so sick of this trend.
