  • = winapi, libc dependencies
  • = great pitch in readme

Why

  • Mucking with %PATH% (windows) by hand to be able to run cargo test is lame.
  • Mucking with rpath (linux) from dependencies is painful (Add a way to set arbitrary rpaths. rust-lang/cargo#5077)
  • Gives rust logic a chance to complain about missing Java, unset %JAVA_HOME%, link installers, auto-install stuff, ...
