I'm developing a version of realistic torches that allows placed, unlit torches to be lit by other lit torches (link). It's not quite done, and there are a lot of merge conflicts due to IntelliJ's formatting of imports and so forth, but I was wondering how open you are to having this behavior in this mod. It isn't turned on by default and there are settings to control the amount of time torches lit with other torches burn for. It's currently about 10% of the time a lit torch will burn for.

I know this issue is very old, but I'd really love this feature on 1.20.1. I'm trying to make a script in KubeJS which does it, but for whatever reason, the entityData isn't merging. So native support would be just lovely!
