Seems to get triggered in a complex document when either the =ifdef is HTML commented out or not present. (Really these two are the same case.)

I haven't been able - yet - to reproduce with a simple test case.

<!-- =def IMS -->

=csv

X,
=ifdef IMS
Hello,
=endif

=endcsv

Reproduced for even a simple document.

Fixed in v0.6.5.

@MartinPacker MartinPacker changed the title =ifdef seems to lead to a crash =ifdef Crashes If Subject Variable Is Undefined Feb 17, 2023
