GPMDP Version: 4.7.1

Issue Descriptions: there's a black screen. Restarting and switching to GPM and switch back to YM does not resolve the issue
Steps to Reproduce:* launch the program

Someone here recommended this app: https://github.com/ytmdesktop/ytmdesktop

So far working fine (there's a sign in issue. Check the issues page for fix)

Here is the thread with instructions to work around the login issue. I have added a comment clarifying what worked for me at the bottom of the thread just now: ytmdesktop/ytmdesktop#866

Switching to ytmdesktop. Also didn't run into the login issue.

Same here, running Windows 8.1 64-bit. Switching to Youtube Music Desktop App, which seems okay right now.

As a workaround I have installed https://music.youtube.com as an app from chrome. Works just fine.

This still seems to be an issue. GPMDP version 4.7.1 on macOS 12.2.1. Is there some way we can be helpful? Thank you!

google-play-music-desktop-player: Remove

`meta.homepage` is unreachable and starting GPMDP eventually just shows
a black screen as described in

MarshallOfSound/Google-Play-Music-Desktop-Player-UNOFFICIAL-#3942

It also depends on deprecated GNOME2/GTK2.

Google Play Music has been discontinued but this program also supported
YouTube Music, for which also `pkgs.ytmdesktop` exists.
