Now I use markmind for creating mind map for automatization framework.
I'm dropping items which needs for my research for write frameworks to the map.
This plugin helped me do not switch to another application. And I can do all my works notes only in obsidian.

I use markmind to map course book
course book if available as pdf document.
I copy the pdf as markdown to my obsidian note, and correct the format with right level of headings
then i make a "linked" mindmap of those headings to markmind.
my plan is also to do it on my personal notes on the book, but have not come that far yet
