Failed to get location

From the example:

var currentLocationN = <String, double>{};

    var location = new Location();

    // Platform messages may fail, so we use a try/catch PlatformException.
    try {
      currentLocationN = await location.getLocation;

      setState(() {
        _currentLocation = currentLocationN;
      });
    } catch (ex) {
      _error = ex.toString();
    }

Fails to get location with PlatformException. I also got a warning:

Configuration 'compile' in project ':location' is deprecated. Use 'implementation' instead.

EDIT: It doesn’t even work on iOS. Another dead plugin 😔
