Only been able to repro this during the intro cutscene too, I noticed if you skip cutscene the bugged photo still shows up in the photo list, so guess it could be some pre-captured texture which maybe game has issues with if it's not sized the same as screen res? E: also wonder what happens if you take photos, then save/close & change resolution, maybe game would have issues with photos being at a different res... |
As far as I can tell it only for this introductory photo during the cutscene. Can go around the tanker and take normal photos as is. Its just that one stays blank |
I went into the file and changed the res to 1280x720 and it shows back up but its odd it doesnt show for 1920x1080 even if you watch the cutescenes or skip |
Going through the texture bank, there does not appear to be a prerendered version of the Sergei picture, it's rendered/captured in engine. |
Note: Konami's built in 720p -> 1080p added in 2.0.0 doesn't present this issue. |
I've only noticed it so far when Snake takes the photo during the intro cutscene. Don't know what settings I should be using for the MGSHDfix since Id like to play it at 1920x1080. Screenshots are with and without the fix. This happens from V0.8-V1.0 however the photo does return is you set the resolution to 1280x720 in the file
