I have an OLED monitor and as such I set a 3 minute to sleep timer via Windows. Many cutscenes MGS games are much longer than 3 minutes, therefore, my monitor goes to sleep and causes my game to minimize or move to windowed mode. This creates all kinds of issues for MGS2 and 3, ranging from audio stutters, monitor flicker, having to press the windows key to select the MGS game to bring it to the foreground, etc.
Describe the solution you'd like
Is there a way of setting an undetectable button press or something that won't interfere with gameplay / cutscenes, but would effectively prevent monitors from sleeping.
Or a different way of stopping Windows from activating the monitor sleep function? No other games that I'm aware of have this issue in full screen mode.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Obviously you can turn off the monitor sleep function in Windows, but this is annoying every time you want to play MGS.
Thanks!!
