On macOS none of the configurations are working. Selecting API dump for example, running vkcube produces no output in the output pane, or on the command line (Any Running Vulkan Application is selected).

There is nothing in ~/.local/share/vulkan/implicit_layer.d folder (no .json for the meta layer) either, so it appears that's where the breakage is.
