Steps to reproduce

To reproduce this, I am using the current client, and build as of Sunday.

It is imperative that to recreate this, you use the a pull through at least this I posted above. Also, the mob you are fighting MUST be low level. Starter zone low. And the character it hits must be HIGH level. We have seen it on level 75-99 characters.

Take the high level character to any starter zone and aggro a mob. The character you are using should be level 75-99. Gear may effect this bug because it appears to be a damage calculation. If you use starter gear, you may also not be able to recreate the bug. Let low level mobs hit you, and you will see this message as shown in the screenshots.

If the mob is level 60, this will not recreate the issue. If the tester is level 1, this will not recreate the issue. If you use a Hume with starting Hume gear, you may not have high enough defense to recreate the issue.

Expected behavior

The behavior is that upon melee strike (and in some instances the additional damage from Qoofim NM enwater effect) the log gives a "The character recovered x hit points!" message. Those hit points are added back to the character. In the event of Qoofim, the damage line reads "The Character recovers 131,069 hit points" as an example. This behavior is different than the mob melee hits because it's very large. This does not appear to change character hit points.

This behavior has been confirmed by StabbyCutyou and HaxleyMODS:
