I have seen during the past few months that I am often re-explaining why we did this choices and things like we did.

I think it is time to start a FAQ in the kinto documentation in order to fix this and to have a easy entry point for people to get answers about the kinto ecosystem.

An example could be: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.8/faq/

Yes, that seems a good idea. Items I'm thinking about:

  • Why not reusing CouchDB / Pouch?
  • What is the difference with Remote Storage?
  • Can I encrypt my data?
  • How do I get involved?
  • What is Cliquet?
  • What is Kinto?

  • How can I use Kinto to share data between users?
  • How can I use Kinto to sync my personal data?
  • How can I use Kinto with Firefox Account?
