If I set VK_ICD_FILENAMES (e.g. /etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json), then the Environment Variable Path Test in run_loader_tests.sh will fail. I don't believe this is intended behavior, but I may be mistaken.

I think this is expected. The tests play around with setting paths, so if overrides are specified I'd expect things to break. I'm not going to change that limitations in the current tests because we're working on replacing these tests altogether.
