What went wrong:
Execution failed for task ':receive_sharing_intent:compileReleaseKotlin'.

Inconsistent JVM-target compatibility detected for tasks 'compileReleaseJavaWithJavac' (1.8) and 'compileReleaseKotlin' (17).

Is there a workaround for this? How is nobody mentioning this?
edit: I added the package from this PR, and it works.
