Hi
This repo looks interesting to me. However it does not seem to be very active. And the README line makes me hesitate:

Undergoing some re-dev...things may be broken...

Are there some dramatic changes? And should I use the current release?
And 1-year release cycle is too long for me. I would prefer half-year or quarterly release cycle :)

Hi @biocyberman

Dev has slowed down, as it is just me working on this project, and I have currently have little to no support for this work. I hope this changes soon.

I would like to get this back up and running and plan on doing so once work and my health has settled down (I have MS and have had a pretty crappy relapse this year).

I'm actually looking for collaborators to help with the dev...the project isn't entirely dead...just stagnated until I get more time and input

I plan on using conda/bioconda for installing all tools in a single Docker image and re-writing some of the biolerplate scripts, adding new reference genomes etc

If you want to use ngseasy, please use the current release (clone from master) and let me know how you get on. I need real testers that can help make this better.

If you need a working NGS solution written and maintained by some awesome folks check out : https://bcbio-nextgen.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ (git: https://github.com/chapmanb/bcbio-nextgen)

thanks for the interest

Steve

@biocyberman PS. I hate those release cycles also! I was aiming for quarterly.
