I've played a bit and it seems you are too susceptible to death, even at level 1. We should make the monster's dice roll damage more explicit and formula based. Currently, you can die at level 1 in 2 shots just because a Fire Ant or a Zombie gets lucky.

Have you played roguelikes before? They're supposed to be hard. If anything, we need to make everything above first level harder.

The purpose of this project is to crush the spirits of those who would deign to play.

Having said that, I am open to ideas. I don't feel the game is currently very hard, though. In fact, I think it's too easy.
