This change set adds nick coloring similar to the Frugal theme, but maintains the overall style of Succint.

A few months late but I found this very helpful. Is there a way to have nicknames retain their specific color when mentioned by other users? I've only been able to have them use the default link color. I've tried tinkering but I've only been able to change the colors of all links at a time, not just member nicknames when mentioned in chats or events.

At the very least, I'd like to have nicknames be a different color from regular links when they're mentioned in chat or seen in channel events, but I can't seem to get that working without changing every member link to the same color (including the ones shown to the left of people talking), thus defeating the original purpose.

I have it working now where member links will be of a different color when mentioned in chat or events than links are. Stuck in a simple
.member { color: #247E70; }
and it worked. Is there any way to get it to actually display the hashed name specific color instead of a blanket color though?

Not entirely sure. I hacked this together rather quickly. If there's an element for it in the XSL that would make things easier.
