JabRef version 4.0 on Ubuntu 16.04

  2. Go to source field
  3. Replace existing biblatex code through (copy/paste)

  2. Jabref hangs
Log File

No console output appears but these errors appeared after opening an entry (didn't produce any runtime problems):

PM javafx.fxml.FXMLLoader$ValueElement processValue
WARNING: Loading FXML document with JavaFX API of version 8.0.112 by JavaFX runtime of version 8.0.60

Thanks for your report! Chances are that this is somehow due to the environment, i.e. the Java and JavaFX versions.

Might be similar to #2963

And I just saw that this is actually a duplicate of #3234, although with Ubuntu instead of Mint. There's no point in two issues here, so I am closing this one in favor of the other.
