Expected Behavior

After authorizing the connection to ITAD, the connection should remain valid indefinitely (or if there is a need to have an expiration, it should be a lengthy period of time and/or user configurable).

Actual Behavior

Approximately 1 week ago I noticed that AugmentedSteam was no longer syncing with ITAD, and when I checked the AugmentedSteam settings, it showed that the IsThereAnyDeal status was "Disconnected". I authorized the connection and saw that the IsThereAnyDeal status changed to "Connected". I was able to successfully sync.

Today, I noticed that once again the IsThereAnyDeal status had reverted to "Disconnected". Again, I was able to manually authorize and sync, but it seems like a week is quite a short time for this to expire.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. AugmentedSteam > settings > IsThereAnyDeal tab: Make sure "Status" is "Disconnected, or click it to disconnect if it is "Connected".
  2. Click the "Disconnected" status and authorize the connection to ITAD.
  3. Verify that status changes to "Connected" and that sync works.
  4. Wait a period of time (I noticed this after about 1 week, but it may be less) and check the ITAD status. It will reset to Disconnected again and no longer sync until re-authorized.

Specifications

  • Augmented Steam Version: The News tab under settings shows 4.1.2 as the most recent release. I didn't see version numbers elsewhere.
  • Browser Version: Chrome 130.0.6723.119 (Official Build) (64-bit)
