The Backpack.tf link is right now going to the old URL like this one: https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198282902922

Desired Behavior

It should instead use this newer link: https://next.backpack.tf/profiles/76561198282902922

Motivation / Use Case for Changing the Behavior

The Backpack.tf link has been changed to a newer website with some UI changes and other improvements.
This should be changed so the new URL is used instead.

Are there any official announcements regarding this new site? I assume it should replace the old one at some point?

I haven't seen any official announcement as to when the old website will go offline, the only thing that I saw was this link: https://next.backpack.tf/new-user

Here it has an explanation as to why they are redesigning the website.

If that's the case you can opt-in the new site by making a custom link for the time being. We can update the built-in link to the new site if they make a formal change or it starts redirecting.
