Versioning for all protocols & components

Due to a raising set of dependencies, we should discuss a common versioning for IDS components (both technical components as well as IDS entities). This is there for the info model, but lacking for e.g., DATs and functional entities such as the clearing house.
Maybe better suited to be part of the RAM, this is still a good place to discuss that.

There is also the point of a compatibility matrix. Which versions are supported? Will v4 info model connector work together with a v2 info model? When does a component have to be upgraded?

Maybe we should also define a release cycle process and the management of that process.

This comes back to the LTS discussion, right? Are there common/basic features/versions that have to be offered? Otherwise this might end up in a real interoperability desaster.
