Hi,

Time ago I had a QNAP (wih HDMI port) and it had the capability to run special Ubuntu dockers that got redirected to the HDMI port, so you can use them as a Desktop computer.

I want to know if there is an easy way to do it (without installing Proxmox or a different OS on the hardware).

The main reason is to use it as normal computer.

As per the title says, it does not really matter if is through a docker or VM (for the desktop part).

One option will be to install a X11 server and run it each time... but I have no idea how install any packet in this OS (I found no documentation).

Thanks.
