Issue Description

As an instrument scientist I would like to see only those fields in alarm that are really off by a fair margin. So if a field is off from the limit but very close then we shouldn't see an alarm for this value.

How & Where?

  • Fields on jaws and motors

Reproducible (Yes/No)?

Yes

Additional Information

  1. We need to define the tolerance levels for interesting fields. This could be absolute values or percentages.
  2. It should be possible to set these tolerances by the scientists themselves.
  3. The tolerance values should be optional
  4. This can potentially tie up with the ticket where we want to define the approach for user defined alarms. (See this)

Acceptance Criteria

  1. Describe how the user is going to define the tolerance for fields interesting for alarms
  2. New ticket to implement the approach
