Deploy: Define browser

As a developer I need a list of supported browsers to work to. Discuss and define. This must include IE11 in comaptibility mode because this is the mandated STFC browser.

I asked Facilities IT if there was an STFC mandated browser. There is not.

Hi Kevin,
We generally recommend using IE11 but in no way is it or any other browser mandatory, but we don't
recommend using Edge. You are free to use your personal choice of browser but you might find that
some things work better in a particular browser than another so may need to swap browsers are
having two running at the same time.
I'm not aware of any sites that require compatibility mode currently.

IE11 is the only fully supported browser, recommended for SBS Oracle, STFC intranet etc, currently
the latest version is version 11.345.17134.0. However, you are welcome to use Firefox, current
version 62.0 or Chrome, current version 70.0.3538.102 although these browser are not fully
supported.
