I propose to release 7.3.0 and volunteer to do it on Feb 11.

FYI, we plan to make soon a major release 9.0.0, because there have been lots of commits since 8.3, and we have a breaking interface change, see discussion at #3796

We have another minor breaking change in the works in #3793

The next release will be a major release, because of we add support of Java 16 and we drop support for Java 8.

what's the reason for dropping support for Java 8? I mean AFAICS it's still supported by Oracle until 2022 and several app didn't move to Java 11 yet (new LTS). For example, there's still open issues at XWiki to build it with Java 11, does it mean we could not use next upgrade of Spoon?
