Thanks for this font family! It would be great if the following characters and diacritics could be added for a language I'm working with:
→ U+0268 LATIN SMALL LETTER I WITH STROKE: ɨ
→ U+0197 LATIN CAPITAL LETTER I WITH STROKE: Ɨ
(Diacritics like U+0300 COMBINING GRAVE ACCENT, U+0301 COMBINING ACUTE ACCENT, U+0302 COMBINING CIRCUMFLEX ACCENT and U+0304 COMBINING MACRON should then also be rendered correctly on this barred i)
→ U+1DC4 COMBINING MACRON-ACUTE: e.g. a᷄
→ Diacritics should also be rendered correctly on the digits 0-9. This is needed to mark grammatical tone in some tone languages.
→ U+A789 MODIFIER LETTER COLON: ꞉
Thanks for considering this!

Out of curiousity: what languages does this concern?

These are languages in Papua New Guinea.

@BoldMonday did this get into v2? If not let’s consider for next rev.

Not included in V02. For a future update then.

@BoldMonday should we consider for a v4?

(replaces my previous comment)

It would be great to add the following:

  • ∙ (Bullet Operator; u+2219)
  • Zero Width Space (u+200b)
  • Full u+2010 through u+2015 (dashes)
  • First half of Latin Extended Additional (u+1e00 through u+1e95)
  • Ǧ (u+01e6) and ǧ (u+01e7)
  • Pinyin letters: ǎ ǐ ǒ ǔ ǖ ǘ ǚ ǜ
  • Ǫ (u+01ea) and ǫ (u+01eb)
  • Ǵ (u+01f4) and ǵ (u+01f5)
  • u+01de through u+01e3 and u+0226 through u+0233
  • Proper rendering of acute (u+0301) on ą ę į ǫ ų, perhaps?

A new update for Plex Sans has been sent to IBM last week. It includes, among other things, the missing pinyin characters and mark support for accented glyphs such as aogonek.

The other glyphs mentioned in this thread have not been added and I cannot give a timeline.
