Data written to PVC is deleted when pod is shut down #358

After creating a PVC and mounting in a pod, the pod wirtes data under the PVC mountpoint.

On stopping the pod, and relaunching a new pod and mounting the PVC, the volume is empty?

We were expecting to see the previously written data available?
