Image rendering sideways in pdf

Hi there,

I'm having an issue where some images I'm trying to render are showing up sideways but for some reason in the browser show up properly. Below I have picture examples of the images rendering in the browser and the pdf. I attempted to write a function calculateImageDimensions to take this into account but for some reason, the width is always larger than the height, but in the browser, the height seems to be larger than the width.
