I don't know if this is actually a feature to be considered within homebrew-cask workflow, but I'm looking for a way to completely remove a cask, specifically an application installed by homebrew-cask.
Before using homebrew-cask, I used to installed apps to /Applications or ~/Applications and in both cases, I can use CleanMyMac to completely remove an app that I'm sure I won't need any bit of it here and there in my Mac (caches, preferences files, etc.). For apps installed by homebrew-cask, CleanMyMac is unable to retrieve the folder of apps, therefore, cannot carry on the removal process.
I wonder if there's any plan for supporting removing a cask completely by searching for related files, similar to what apps like CleanMyMac is doing? I know it would be a bit "dangerous" sometimes to remove files without knowing exactly what it's for, but it's possible to show a warning with a list of files, isn't it?

This idea has been discussed, and we are definitely interested. See #3359, #3066, #1135 and HACKING.md.
However, we are only just getting started on the book-keeping needed to dependably uninstall the Apps themselves. Cleanup of the related files is a step after that.
We are totally open to a pull request in this area if someone is interested in hacking on it.
If you don't mind, I'd like to close this issue as being a duplicate. But please do feel free to add your comments to any of the open issues listed above.
