The issue is that opening Quiver by opening the app often results with the note titles but no note content.

A few have mentioned that opening the app by double-clicking on its database folder works. I tried that and yep - works for me too (M1 Mac Air running Monterey)

An easy way to accomplish this is to create a symbolic link that you can click on - this was what I did:

ln -s "/Users/dhoerl/Library/Containers/com.happenapps.Quiver/Data/Library/Application Support/Quiver/Quiver.qvlibrary" ~/Applications/QuiverDB

Hope this helps someone!

I have recently noticed this issue but I've tried this fix and it doesn't resolve the issue, the missing notes still just have the titles?

Are you sure you did this correctly? With the app not running, double click on tie database folder to open it? I just did this a few days ago and it's all working for me. Using the latest Ventura 13.5 too. I just now tapped on a bunch of different items, all have content.

Sure would be great if some other dev would buy this guy out and re-activate the app.

I had already tried it, but I tried again to no avail. Shut the app down and opened the library via finder.

The app does seem really buggy, it won't let me delete the notes that are empty either 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I agree if the dev isn't gonna bother anymore they should sell it or make it opensource. It's has such potential!

Well WTF! I just tested double clicking on the App in the Finder (it's in /Applications), and it works fiine today. Maybe because it was running earlier.

In any case, this was the symbolic link I made in Terminal and put elsewhere, that worked when I clicked on it:

/Users/dhoerl/Library/Containers/com.happenapps.Quiver/Data/Library/Application Support/Quiver/Quiver.qvlibrary

I guess you could navigate to the Quicer folder in finder and just double click on the Quiver.qvlibrary file...
