LC cannot connect to the AI Horde it seems. It says 'AI horde request timed out'. #125
Comments
LC uses a normal https connection, same as your browser. Can you access the AI horde on your browser? |
Sorry for the late reply my ADHD is strong. I can use sites like https://tinybots.net/artbot, https://artificial-art.eu/, https://dezgo.com/txt2img, if that is what you mean then yes and i think they all use ai horde. I just think it would be nice if i could use LC myself but i guess its basically the same as those sites. Also, I used a different internet connection and also different VPN and LC works fine. I dont know if its my main internet or main VPN but its one of them. Ill have to do some testing but otherwise it works fine with the alternative internet and VPN which is not my internet. Either way my main internet or main vpn is giving it problems. Maybe LC using some special proxy / port (which I dont know much about). My main VPN does block peer-to-peer and torrent and I cant use TOR or anything like that with my main VPN. |
No I meant that AI horde uses the same http calls as those sites use. Have you checked that your firewall is not blocking the AI horde software? |
I have no firewall on. I use only simplewall and its off and windows firewall is always off. Okay so I did some more testing. The problem is not my main VPN since LC works with the other internet service and other VPN and my main VPN. It seems to be my main internet service (xfinity) that is causing the problems. But its only a problem on my laptop and not on my android tablet. |
Can you reach https://aihorde.net/api manually on your browser from where you're having an issue? |
Yes i see the page and assume its a documentation of AI horde 2.0. Works fine. While LC is saying AI Horde request time out. The only thing as said previously, is that TOR, pip, and github all have similar connection issues and its only on my laptop while on the phone these things work fine (though Ii havent tried pip or github through my tablet). So I dont know if that gives any clue on what the possible issue might be. |
I am curious how LC is making its connection. The only time I have connection problems is with pypi and github, and it seems to be because they do things through the CMD, (perhaps of pip I dont know). Which for some reason does not work so i can never download anything from either site through CMD. I can only assume LC is using an unusual connection or at least similar to the connections that pypi and github use. I know nothing how any of it works but it seems to be related.
