Optional source: Provide temperature for disk if module drivetemp is loaded #821

  • Data: temperature

It's possible to read-out temperatures without messing with smart with drivetemp HWMON exposed file API.

Comes from a discussion between @GuillaumeGomez and I. You can assign me if I have done nothing until last-week will update the ticket I think. :)

Why? May help in project like https://github.com/Gandi/jbod-rs avoiding a process spawning.

Did some research. We pass over the disk temperature... But disk did'nt have _label why I don't know.

The problem is over-here:
