Outline Action Item Details

When people run SCI they need numbers for the time they run the workload. So far we have collected historical metadata for previous years that is released by cloud providers long after the year is over. The proposal is that we generate a best estimate for the current year, which anyone can use, and that this would be better that having people make their own guesses or use data from the previous year. Initial sample code to perform the projection has been developed and posted to the dev branch along with its output. Code was developed in a ChatGPT discussion and it needs more work to refine the individual columns based on the kind of data they contain. The initial code just made linear projections. This ChatGPT discussion can be viewed here, these links seem to live for a few months... https://chatgpt.com/share/6726127b-3274-8009-a387-a3d80ba653f1
