This plugin could calculate and provide insights into the amount of electronic and non-electronic waste produced as a result of software development, deployment and run processes. It might consider factors such as device lifespan, packaging, and decommissioning practice.

So we could start with static data around development machines, pre-prod environments, test runs etc and then move on to production.

As usual, any pointers on good sources of data for this idea would be welcome.
