What happened?

When browsing to the Carbon Aware Repository's packages, it is not possible to download these packages without it being public (or having the right set of permissions)

Actual:

  • When visiting the Carbon Aware SDK repo in an incognito browser without logging in to github, packages are not visible

Expected:

  • It should be possible to access and download packages

Below displays difference between authenticated with read writes and incognito: Difference between authenticated with read writes and incognito

Reference to configuration settings to apply:

This has now been done. The packages published to https://github.com/Green-Software-Foundation/carbon-aware-sdk/pkgs/container/carbon-aware-sdk. They are visible in incognito browser (not logged in to github) and package can be pulled as well.
(Known issue on mac remains, but to be dealt separately though not a priority for now)
