After v0.87.0 of the collector, the resource processor is no longer needed, as the GMP exporter will automatically do the mapping.

See GoogleCloudPlatform/opentelemetry-operations-go#679 for context.

  1. Wait until v0.87.0 is released
  2. Update the collector version in this sample
  3. Then remove the resource processor.
