Each time I've beautified my document a message 'thingy' pops up in the lower part of the window:

beautify_popup

I have two questions:

  1. What's the use for this? :) (I don't mean to sound rude!)
  2. Is it possible to suppress this message?
  3. What does the 'squeeze'-looking button next to the X (close) button do? For me, it doesn't do anything when clicked.

Best wishes,
Henrik

  1. This is for displaying beautification error messages. I attaches itself to the bottom whenever a user runs beautification. However, if there are no errors, it really should be scarce ;). See issue Message/Loading Popup/Modal #56 for more details.

  2. I will:

  • hide it unless there is an error to be displayed
  1. The UI is from https://github.com/tcarlsen/atom-message-panel
The squeeze button is meant to collapse the panel however since there are no errors, it is basically already collapsed.

  • chance message panel title from "Atom Beautify" to "Atom Beautify error messages".
