seg fault

This is a great tool. However, I can't seem to get it to work on my device.
I am using arch with Hyperland widow manager with a eDP-1 laptop but I keep getting segmentation fault no matter what kind of video I try to play.

[1]    39845 segmentation fault (core dumped)  mpvpaper "*" Videos/LiveWallpapers/live_wallpaper_2.mp4

Any idea what the cause is?
