Today I signed up for gettogether.community, logging in via GitHub OAuth.
The default location for my profile was set to Eschborn, Hesse, Germany. That doesn't make sense to me at all because:
My GitHub profile specifies my home town as "Münster, Germany"
Even if this information wasn't available, I wouldn't expect the site to just choose something. The field should instead be left blank.
This was especially annoying as after selecting the topics I'm interested in, I was only presented teams that are not relevant to me at all because they meet 300+ km away from me.
Also, even after changing my home town in the profile settings, every time I visit the main page, the City search field is still pre-populated with "Eschborn"...
