I had the same problem with new version(v2.4)

• libavcodec: 60.31.102 / 60.31.102
• libavformat: 60.16.100 / 60.16.100
• libavutil: 58.29.100 / 58.29.100
• libusb: - / 1.0.27

The device I used is Xiaomi 13 pro with MIUI Global 14.0.19

With that exact same error message (WASAPI can't initialize audio client: Coinitialize has not been called)? (try the latest version just in case, 2.6.1 currently)

If this still happens, it should be reported to libsdl: libsdl-org/SDL#7478 (where the problem is expected to be fixed)
