Esto me sucedió en MacBook Pro Mid 2012

Reinstalé Homebrew pero no funcionó e indagando más allá encontré la solución

rm -rf /usr/local/Homebrew/Library/Taps/homebrew/homebrew-core;
Esto va a reiniciar las carpetas de Homebrew (eso entendí) y las dependencias para poder usar "scrcpy"

brew update
Esto actualiza Brew

Una vez que se actualice Brew hay que instalar Scrcpy

brew install scrcpy

Va a tardar un poco de tiempo pero esto va a terminar de instalar scrcpy

Luego sigue con los demás pasos de instalación de MacOs

@LeeBinder It appears that Homebrew compiles the whole world when some conditions are not met, see #2256.

thanks @rom1v for the pointer. Brew just finished and your awesome app is running - faster/ better than AirDroid, Teamviewer QuickSupport and AnyDesk. Respect!!

Will compare brew folder size with the one on my external backup ssd tomorrow and then decide if I uninstall scrcpy again (I use the purge brew module for that which also removes any dependencies which are not in use by any other brew module), and also see if install via MacPorts > sudo port install scrcpy at the current time "weighs" any less.

[EDIT]: will continue in # 2256 to keeps this issue somewhat consolidated.
