(as a system package) on an openSUSE Leap/SLES system.

if db_configure
is set to true
, then the role will create a MariaDB database for you.
Including an example of how to use your role (for instance, with variables passed in as parameters) is always nice for users too:
- hosts: jellyfish
roles:
- role: geekoops-matomo
vars:
db_configure: true
db_name: 'matomo'
db_user: 'matomo'
db_pass: 'password123'
firewall_configure: true
firewall_zone: 'public'
This playbook will install the system package matomo
and add a matomo
database user and database with the password above.
Firewall access is opened for http traffic and you can reach the matomo instance for configuration after installation on http://jellyfish/matomo (replace jellyfish
with the system hostname).
